Hi, I’m Chez Oxendine. I’m a member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina, and a multi-disciplinary writer working out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Words are my life – I write everything from essays and short stories to plays and dialogue for games, both tabletop and video. By day I work as a staff writer for Tribal Business News while occasionally moonlighting for Native News Online; by night I freelance for outlets like Hubspot and USA Today, and roleplaying game companies like Paizo and Renegade.
Much of my non-commercial essays, poetry, short stories, and so on will be published here. For my commercial work, you can find me at Tribal Business News, the Muskogee Phoenix, Dicebreaker, and American Road Magazine, among others.
If your company needs a message crafted, or if your game needs some lore, dialogue, or plotting created, or if you’d just like a nice couple of verses for your tabletop game’s bard, please feel free to reach out at chez@chezdispenser.com.
